Eligibility & Requirements
- Available to Eastern Fuel customers enrolled in our Automatic Delivery program at a minimum of 600 gallons annually.
- Heating equipment must pass inspection and approval; coverage applies only to single-family residential heating systems. Maintenance Contracts will be discontinued should equipment fall out of approval and replacement has been recommended.
- Plan is void if not paid in full within 30 days of issuance.
- If customer has delinquent balance on account or has not honored Eastern Fuel’s credit terms, service contract may be canceled or suspended by Eastern Fuel.
Exclusions & Limitations
- The plan does not cover:
- Work done by unauthorized persons or companies.
- Air conditioning services are NOT covered under this agreement and will be billed separately.
- Parts listed as obsolete and non-obtainable will be updated with modern controls and will be chargeable to the customer on parts and labor basis at prevailing rates.
- Some service requests might not fall under emergency repair, and rather require repair arrangements only available during working hours, Monday through Friday.
- Maintenance Contract policy provides for the repair or replacement of any or all parts listed in the fine print. No other labor cost or parts of the furnace, boiler or heating system are covered, such as the servicing and replacement of any device that water passes through such as piping, radiation, valves, domestic hot water hook-ups, etc.
- Emergency calls resulting from burner failure caused by flood, fire, lightning, power failure, blown fuses, main switch off, flooded heating system, no oil or extreme low oil levels in tank (except when customer is on our Automatic Delivery basis), no water in the boiler, equipment powered by a generator, or other conditions beyond our control, will be charged at our prevailing service rates.
